Killer Bunny Egg Hunt
The Killer Bunny Egg hunt, or simply Bunnies as it is known, is an Easter Egg Hunt style game for up to 6 players. Players are tasked to find a number of eggs within a time limit, but the rabbits aren't happy about your egg theft and will try to stop you
Location
The den of the killer bunnies can be found within the roots of a large birch tree on an island to the east of the starter village island. Which island specifically?
Description
In the entrance, there is clickable text that allows players to check their eligibility for additional rewards, as well as setting a max player limit, useful for groups or individuals who do not wish for other players to join mid-hunt.
Players must first make an offering to the den before they are permitted entry.

The den will open allowing players to jump in.
Players will find themselves falling into a small subterranean arena filled with killer rabbits. Eggs will appear one (per player) at a time. Collecting an egg will cause another to pop into existence somewhere else, along with a new rabbit to guard it.
Solo players must find 5 eggs.
Each additional player adds 5 eggs to the total.
Once all eggs have been found, rewards are distributed automatically to players and an exit portal appears.
Rewards
Upon successful completion of the hunt, every player inside the den will receive a random mob head from the more mob heads datapack.
If players are eligible for an additional reward Need confirmation of what that is/can be, they will also be granted that and their timer will be reset. Need confirmation of timer duration
Strategy
Bunnies is a relatively simple game, eggs have a limited number of places they spawn in, mostly around the edges of the arena. Players can run around the perimeter to check each spot and the rabbits will lag behind and bunch up in the center. Somewhat...
With headphones on, the pop of a new egg appearing can help you locate it since it will be louder in one ear or the other, allowing direction to be estimated, and the overall volume gives an idea of distance from you. To accurately hear this, do not rotate your view when you collect an egg.
Wear good armor and keep an eye on durability. Bunnies bite HARD and armor won't last more than a handful of rounds without repair!
Keep eating, bunnies can do a lot of damage to your health but keep moving and keep chowing down snacks and you should be generally ok.
But do hold a totem, just in case.
Notes
- Players who die within the den will respawn at the den entrance
- Lost items that are within the den when the last player leaves will be teleported to the same location
Trivia
- The rabbits are named in reference to the Rabbit of Caerbannog from the 1975 comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
- In Minecraft, much like real life, rabbits cannot lay eggs. As such, the eggs that the killer rabbits lay are actually the turtle egg sprite.
- Due to the delay in opening the Above in Season 10, the den was brought to the Easter District, allowing players their first real taste of Above content that season.
